अङ्गद-प्रत्यागमनम् — Angada’s Return and the Confirmation of Sītā’s Discovery

स त्वदागमनं श्रुत्वा सहैभिर्हरियूथपैः।प्रहृष्टो न तु रुष्टोऽसौ वनं श्रुत्वा प्रधर्षितम्।।।।

sa tvadāgamanaṃ śrutvā sahaibhir hariyūthapaiḥ |

prahṛṣṭo na tu ruṣṭo 'sau vanaṃ śrutvā pradharṣitam ||

Hearing of your arrival, he—together with these leaders of the Vānara hosts—was delighted, not angered, even after hearing that the grove had been damaged.

"He was not angry at your destruction of the garden. On the other hand, he was very glad to hear about your arrival.
