Shloka 5.58.97

सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः — हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्

इदं च पुरुषव्याघ्रः श्रीमान् दाशरथिः स्वयम्।अङ्गुलीयमभिज्ञानमदात्तुभ्यं यशस्विनि।।।।

idaṃ ca puruṣavyāghraḥ śrīmān dāśarathiḥ svayam | aṅgulīyam abhijñānam adāt tubhyaṃ yaśasvini ||

“And this ring, a token of recognition, was given for you by the illustrious Dāśarathi himself—that tiger among men, O renowned lady.”

'O glorious lady! the tiger among men, the illustrious son of Dasaratha himself sent this ring to you as a taken of identity.
