so ’viṣahyaṃ hi māṃ buddhvā svaṃ balaṃ cāvamarditam | brāhmaṇāstreṇa sa tu māṃ prābadhnāc chātivegitaḥ ||

Knowing that I was hard to overpower and that his own strength had been checked, he swiftly bound me with the Brahmā-weapon (Brahmāstra).

"Realising that I cannot be slain and that his (Indrajit's) power is reduced, he released Brahma's weapon on me with high speed and captured me.

Respect for higher divine ordinances (astra-dharma): the Brahmā-weapon’s binding power operates as a cosmic rule, reminding that even great strength yields to sacred law.

Unable to subdue Hanumān by ordinary means, Indrajit restrains him using the Brahmāstra.

Hanumān’s inner discipline is implicit: he acknowledges the binding as a consequence of sacred power, not mere physical defeat.
