तानहं सहसैन्यान्वै सर्वानेवाभ्यसूदयम्।ततः पुनर्दशग्रीवः पुत्रमक्षं महाबलम्।।।।बहुभी राक्षसैस्सार्धं प्रेषयामास रावणः।

Transliteration

tān ahaṃ sahasainyān vai sarvān evābhyasūdayam |

tataḥ punar daśagrīvaḥ putram akṣaṃ mahābalam |

bahubhir rākṣasaiḥ sārdhaṃ preṣayāmāsa rāvaṇaḥ |

Translation

I slew them all indeed, along with their troops. Then Daśagrīva—Rāvaṇa—again sent forth his mighty son Akṣa, together with many rākṣasas.
