सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः — हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
परिघेणैव तान् सर्वान्नयामि यमसादनम्।।।।मन्त्रिपुत्त्रान्हतान्च्छृत्वा समरेऽलघुविक्रमान्।पञ्च सेनाग्रगाच्छ्रूरान्प्रेषयामास रावणः।।।।
parigheṇaiva tān sarvān nayāmi yamasādanam |
mantriputrān hatān chrutvā samare 'laghuvikramān |
pañca senāgragān śūrān preṣayāmāsa rāvaṇaḥ ||
With the iron bar alone I sent them all to Yama’s abode. When Rāvaṇa heard that the ministers’ sons—fighters of no small prowess—had been slain in battle, he dispatched five heroic leaders of the army’s vanguard.
"I sent all of them to the abode of Yama with just an iron bar. Having heard about the death of the less powerful ones, Ravana sent five heroic army generals.
Actions bear results: adharma generates a chain of suffering and escalation; dharma urges timely correction rather than compounding harm.
