व्यवसायं च तं बुद्ध्वा स होवाच महागिरिः।।।पुत्त्रेति मधुरां वाणीं मनः प्रह्लादयन्निव।

Transliteration

vyavasāyaṃ ca taṃ buddhvā sa hovāca mahāgiriḥ | puttreti madhurāṃ vāṇīṃ manaḥ prahlādayann iva ||

Translation

Perceiving his purpose and steadfast resolve, the great mountain spoke in a sweet voice, as though gladdening the heart, addressing him as “son”.
