षट्पञ्चाशः सर्गः — वैदेही-आश्वासनम् तथा अरिष्टारोहणम् (Consoling Sita and Ascending Mount Arishta)
अतिप्रमाणा बलिनो दीप्तजिह्वा महाविषाः।।।।निपीडितशिरोग्रीवा व्यचेष्टन्त महाहयः।
śaraistu saṅkulāṃ kṛtvā laṅkāṃ parabalārdanaḥ | māṃ nayedyadi kākutsthas tattasya sadṛśaṃ bhavet ||
“If Kakutstha Rāma—the destroyer of hostile forces—were to come to Laṅkā, fill it with his arrows, and take me back, that deed would be truly worthy of him.”
Highly powerful, huge and poisonous snakes with their glowing tongues protruded, pressed on their heads and necks (by Hanuman).
Dharma here is maryādā (righteous propriety): Sītā frames her rescue as something that should be accomplished by Rāma’s rightful agency and valor, in a manner befitting his role as a dharmic king and warrior.
In Aśoka-vana, Sītā is speaking to Hanumān about how her deliverance should occur—through Rāma’s arrival and victory in Laṅkā.
Sītā’s steadfast loyalty and commitment to righteous order (maryādā), and her confidence in Rāma’s heroic competence.
