चैत्यप्रासाद-विध्वंसः (Destruction of the Chaitya Palace and Hanuman’s Proclamation)

स भूत्वा सुमहाकायः प्रभावान्मारुतात्मजः।धृष्टमास्फोटयामास लङ्कां शब्देन पूरयन्।।।।

sa bhūtvā sumahākāyaḥ prabhāvān mārutātmajaḥ |

dhṛṣṭam āsphoṭayāmāsa laṅkāṁ śabdena pūrayan ||

Then the son of the Wind, swelling into a vast form through his might, boldly slapped and flexed his arms, filling Laṅkā with the thunder of that sound.

Hanuman heaved his body huge with his prowess and patted his arms loudly filling the city of Lanka with that terrible sound.

Dharma includes the rightful use of strength: Hanumān’s display of power functions as deterrence against adharma and as resolve in a just mission.

Hanumān enlarges his form and creates a terrifying, city-filling sound by slapping/flexing his arms, signaling his presence to Laṅkā’s defenders.

Mahā-bala and dhairya (great strength and fearlessness), used with purpose rather than vanity.
