You should reassure and steady the strong-armed Rāghava, so that he may rescue me and help me cross beyond this barrier—this flood-bank—of the ocean of sorrow.

"You must pacify the strong-armed Rama in a manner by which he will help me to cross the ocean of grief and rlieve me.

Rāma (Rāghava)
S
Sītā
H
Hanumān

Dharma here includes responsible communication: Hanumān must speak in a way that supports righteous action without inflaming despair or rashness—truthful reassurance that sustains duty.

Sītā, still imprisoned, asks Hanumān not only to report facts but also to console Rāma so he can act effectively to rescue her.

Hanumān’s virtue of wise counsel (mati) and steadiness: he is entrusted to regulate emotion through dharmic speech so the mission proceeds rightly.
