Shloka 5.39.44
अभिज्ञानमणि-प्रदानम् — The Signet Jewel as Proof and the Consolation of Sita
तदाश्वसिहि भद्रं ते भव त्वं कालकाङ्क्षिणी।नचिराद्द्रक्ष्यसे रामं प्रज्वलन्तमिवानलम्।।।।
tad āśvasihi bhadraṃ te bhava tvaṃ kāla-kāṅkṣiṇī |
na cirād drakṣyase rāmaṃ prajvalantam ivānalam ||
Therefore be comforted—may auspiciousness be yours; wait only for the time. Before long you will see Rāma, blazing like fire.
"Therefore, count the days and rest assured. Let it be auspicious to you. You will shortly see Rama burning like fire.
Dharma includes sustaining hope through truthful assurance—steadiness in suffering is supported by confidence in righteous action.
Hanumān continues to console Sītā, assuring her that Rāma’s arrival and righteous wrath against injustice are near.
Sītā’s endurance and Hanumān’s supportive counsel—patience strengthened by faith in dharmic protection.
