मणिं तु दृष्ट्वा रामो वै त्रयाणां संस्मरिष्यति।वीरो जनन्या मम च राज्ञो दशरथस्य च।।।।
maṇiṃ tu dṛṣṭvā rāmo vai trayāṇāṃ saṃsmariṣyati | vīro jananyā mama ca rājño daśarathasya ca ||
But when the hero Rāma sees this jewel, he will surely remember the three of us—my mother, me, and King Daśaratha.
"Seeing this jewel,Rama will recall three of us, my mother, myself and the king Dasaratha" (as this was given by her mother at her marriage.)
Dharma is truth-anchored communication: a reliable token supports satya (verification of identity and message) and preserves rightful relationships.
Sītā speaks about the jewel as a recognition-token so that Rāma will trust the message and recall familial bonds connected with it.
Sītā’s prudence and integrity—ensuring the message is authenticated and emotionally meaningful.
