Shloka 5.39.1

अभिज्ञानमणि-प्रदानम् — The Signet Jewel as Proof and the Consolation of Sita

मणिं दत्त्वा ततः सीता हनूमन्तमथाब्रवीत्।अभिज्ञानमभिज्ञातमेतद्रामस्य तत्त्वतः।।।।

maṇiṃ dattvā tataḥ sītā hanūmantam athābravīt |

abhijñānam abhijñātam etad rāmasya tattvataḥ ||5.39.1||

Having given the jewel, Sītā said to Hanumān: “This is the true token of recognition, known in truth to Rāma.”

Sita gave the jewel to Hanuman and said, "This signet ornament is known to Rama very well".
