अभिज्ञानमणि-प्रदानम् — The Signet Jewel as Proof and the Consolation of Sita
अप्यर्कमपि पर्जन्यमपि वैवस्वतं यमम्।स हि सोढुं रणे शक्तस्तव हेतोर्विशेषतः।।।।
apy arkam api parjanyam api vaivasvataṃ yamam | sa hi soḍhuṃ raṇe śaktaḥ tava hetor viśeṣataḥ ||
Even the Sun, even Parjanya, even Yama the son of Vivasvat—he is able to withstand them in battle, especially for your sake.
"Indeed, Rama is capable of conquering even the Sun-god, or the rain-god or Yama (the son of the Sun) specially for your sake.
Dharma is unwavering commitment to protect the rightful: the rescuer’s duty becomes extraordinary when motivated by justice and fidelity.
Hanumān reassures Sītā through exalted comparisons, stressing that no cosmic power can deter Rāma’s rescue.
Rāma’s steadfast determination (and Hanumān’s truthful encouragement) in service of a righteous cause.
