Shloka 5.38.53

अभिज्ञानप्रदानम् — The Token of Recognition (Chūḍāmaṇi) and the Crow Episode Recalled

हत्त्वा च समरे क्रूरं रावणं सहबान्धवम्।राघवस्त्वां विशालाक्षि नेष्यति स्वां पुरीं प्रति।।5.38.53।।

hattvā ca samare krūraṃ rāvaṇaṃ sahabāndhavam | rāghavas tvāṃ viśālākṣi neṣyati svāṃ purīṃ prati ||5.38.53||

Having slain the cruel Rāvaṇa in battle, together with his kinsmen, Rāghava will lead you, O large-eyed one, back toward his own city.

"O large-eyed lady! cruel Ravana along with his relatives will be killed by Rama in war and Rama will return to his city with you.

Restorative justice: adharma (abduction and coercion) culminates in lawful punishment of the wrongdoer, followed by restoration of the rightful order and reunion.

Hanumān foretells the outcome: Rāma will defeat Rāvaṇa and return Sītā safely to Rāma’s city.

Rāma’s righteous strength (dharma-yuddha): power used to protect, rescue, and re-establish moral order.
