अभिज्ञानप्रदानम् — The Token of Recognition (Chūḍāmaṇi) and the Crow Episode Recalled
तावुभौ पुरुषव्याघ्रौ राजपुत्रौ महाबलौ।त्वद्दर्शनकृतोत्साहौ लङ्कां भस्मीकरिष्यतः।।5.38.52।।
tāv ubhau puruṣavyāghrau rājaputrau mahābalau | tvaddarśanakṛtotsāhau laṅkāṃ bhasmīkariṣyataḥ ||5.38.52||
Those two mighty princes—tigers among men—made resolute by the longing to see you, will reduce Laṅkā to ashes.
"Both the mighty brothers, tigers among men, are eager to see you. Both the princes will reduce this Lanka into ashes.
Kṣātra-dharma (righteous protection through force when necessary): the destruction of Laṅkā is framed as the consequence of adharma (Rāvaṇa’s wrongdoing) and the duty to rescue the innocent.
Hanumān reassures Sītā that Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa are determined to reach her and will devastate Laṅkā in the process of rescue.
Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa’s resolve and protective duty: their strength is directed toward restoring justice and recovering Sītā.
