O divine lady, I swear to you by truth: Rāma is not indifferent to your sorrow. And since Rāma is overwhelmed by grief, even Lakṣmaṇa is tormented and laments.

Satya (truthfulness) as dharma: Hanumān grounds reassurance in an oath ‘by truth,’ presenting truthful speech as a moral duty, especially when consoling the afflicted.
In Laṅkā, Hanumān has located Sītā and begins consoling her, affirming that Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa grieve intensely for her and are not neglectful.
Hanumān’s satya and compassion: he speaks responsibly and empathetically, using a truth-oath to strengthen Sītā’s confidence.
