रामलक्षणवर्णनम् (Description of Rama and Lakshmana; Alliance Narrative to Sita)
तस्य वीर्यवतो देवि भर्तुस्तव हिते रतः।अहमेकस्तु सम्प्राप्त स्सुग्रीववचनादिह।।।।
tasya vīryavato devi bhartus tava hite rataḥ |
aham ekas tu samprāptaḥ sugrīvavacanād iha ||
O queen, intent on the welfare of your valiant husband, I have come here alone at Sugrīva’s command.
"O queen! seeking the welfare of your Valiant husband I came here at the behest of Sugriva all alone.
Dharma as loyal service within rightful hierarchy: Hanumān serves Rāma’s cause while honoring Sugrīva’s leadership and command structure.
Hanumān explains why he is alone in Laṅkā: he was deputed by Sugrīva to seek Sītā for Rāma’s welfare.
Single-minded dedication—undertaking a perilous mission alone for the good of another.
