रामलक्षणवर्णनम् (Description of Rama and Lakshmana; Alliance Narrative to Sita)
कुशली तव काकुत्स्थस्सर्वशस्त्रभृतां वरः।गुरोराराधने युक्तो लक्ष्मणश्च सुलक्षणः।।।।
kuśalī tava kākutsthaḥ sarvaśastrabhṛtāṃ varaḥ |
guror ārādhane yukto lakṣmaṇaś ca sulakṣaṇaḥ ||
Your Rāma of the Kakutstha line—foremost among all who bear weapons—is well; and Lakṣmaṇa too, marked with auspicious qualities, remains devotedly engaged in serving his elder.
"Your lord Rama of Kakutstha race, supreme among wielders of weapons is doing well. So is venerable Lakshmana endowed with auspicious signs engaged in serving him.
Maryādā and fidelity to duty: Lakṣmaṇa’s dharma is expressed as devoted service to his elder (treated as guru), while Hanumān practices satya by conveying their wellbeing.
Hanumān reassures Sītā that Rāma is safe and that Lakṣmaṇa continues steadfastly at his side.
Loyalty and disciplined service—Lakṣmaṇa’s unwavering attendance upon Rāma.
