Shloka 5.35.7

रामलक्षणवर्णनम् (Description of Rama and Lakshmana; Alliance Narrative to Sita)

यानि रामस्य चिह्नानि लक्ष्मणस्य च यानि वै।लक्षितानि विशालाक्षि वदतश्शृणु तानि मे।।।।

aṅgadapramukhāḥ sarve velopāntam upasthitāḥ | cintāṃ jagmuḥ punar bhītās tvaddarśanasamutsukāḥ ||5.35.69||

All of them, with Angada at their head, came to the very edge of the seashore; yet again, though eager to see you, they fell into anxious fear.

"O large-eyed lady! I will describe those distinguishing marks of Rama and Lakshmana Listen.

Dharma is tested at obstacles: eagerness for a righteous goal must be joined with courage and practical resolve when fear returns.

The Vanaras reach the sea but are intimidated by the vast crossing; despite renewed hope, anxiety rises again.

The need for courage (dhairya) alongside devotion—desire alone is insufficient without steadfast action.
