रामलक्षणवर्णनम् (Description of Rama and Lakshmana; Alliance Narrative to Sita)
रामसुग्रीवयोरैक्यं देव्येवं समजायत।हनुमन्तं च मां विद्धि तयोर्दूतमिहागतम्।।।।
rāmasugrīvayor aikyaṃ devi evaṃ samajāyata | hanumantaṃ ca māṃ viddhi tayor dūtam ihāgatam ||
O noble lady, in this way an alliance was formed between Rāma and Sugrīva. Know me as Hanumān, who has come here as the messenger of them both.
"Oh Illustrious lady! In that manner alliance was established between Rama and Sugriva. Know me to be Hanuman, arrived here as their messenger.
Dharma here is truthful self-disclosure and faithful service: Hanumān establishes credibility by stating the righteous alliance and his legitimate role as a duly appointed messenger.
In Laṅkā’s Aśoka grove, Hanumān reassures Sītā by explaining Rāma’s alliance with Sugrīva and identifying himself as their envoy.
Satya (truthfulness) and niṣṭhā (loyal commitment): Hanumān speaks plainly about his identity and mission.
