रामलक्षणवर्णनम् (Description of Rama and Lakshmana; Alliance Narrative to Sita)
ततस्ताभ्यां कुमाराभ्यां वीराभ्यां स हरीश्वरः।किष्किन्धां समुपागम्य वाली युद्धे निपातितः।।।।
tato nihatya tarasā rāmo vālinam āhave | sarvarkṣaharisaṅghānāṁ sugrīvam akarot patim ||
Then, having swiftly slain Vāli in battle, Rāma made Sugrīva the lord over all the hosts of monkeys and bears.
"Thereafter both the princes together arrived at Kishkinda and killed Vali, king of vanaras in a combat.
Dharma includes establishing rightful governance: after conflict, Rama ensures stable leadership so the collective can act for a righteous objective.
Hanuman recounts the aftermath of Vali’s fall: Sugriva is installed as leader of the allied forces.
Rama’s sense of order and responsibility—he does not leave a power vacuum but secures legitimate command for the larger mission.
