रामलक्षणवर्णनम् (Description of Rama and Lakshmana; Alliance Narrative to Sita)
तवादर्शनशोकेन राघवः प्रविचाल्यते।महता भूमिकम्पेन महानिव शिलोच्चयः।।।।
tavādarśanaśokena rāghavaḥ pravicālyate | mahatā bhūmikampena mahān iva śiloccayaḥ ||
From the grief of not beholding you, Rāghava is shaken—like a mighty mountain trembling beneath a great earthquake.
"On account of sorrow caused by not being able to see you, Rama of Raghu dynasty is shaken up like a lofty mountain is shaken by earthquake.
Truthfulness of emotion within righteousness: even the ideal man feels grief, yet remains oriented to dharma rather than collapse or wrongdoing.
