रामलक्षणवर्णनम् (Description of Rama and Lakshmana; Alliance Narrative to Sita)
ततस्त्वद्गात्रशोभीनि रक्षसा ह्रियमाणया।यान्याभरणजालानि पातितानि महीतले।।5.35.37।।तानि सर्वाणि रामाय आनीय हरियूथपाः।संहृष्टा दर्शयामासुर्गतिं तु न विदुस्तव।।5.35.38।।
tāni rāmāya dattāni mayaivopahṛtāni ca | svanavantyavakīrṇāni tasmin vigatacetasi ||
Those ornaments—I myself gathered them and offered them to Rāma. Seeing them scattered and jingling, he, his mind unmoored, lost all composure.
Dharma as truthful witnessing and service: Hanumān faithfully preserves and delivers evidence, supporting the righteous cause with integrity.
Hanumān narrates that he gathered the fallen ornaments and handed them to Rāma, whose grief surged upon seeing them.
Hanumān’s conscientious devotion (bhakti) and reliability as a messenger and helper.
