Before long, the heroic and mighty one will slay Rāvaṇa in battle with arrows loosed in wrath, blazing like fire. Therefore I have been sent as a messenger and have come into your presence. Tormented by sorrow from separation from you, he asks after your welfare.
"Heroic Rama will soon release many scorching, fiery arrows in anger and kill Ravana. I seek your permission as an envoy of Rama. Filled with grief by your separation, he has made inquiries about your welfare.
Dharma of justice and truthful mission: Hanumān openly states his envoy-status and conveys Rāma’s true intent—rescue and righteous punishment of adharma.
Hanumān formally declares he is Rāma’s messenger, promises imminent retribution against Rāvaṇa, and communicates Rāma’s concern for Sītā.
Rāma’s steadfast resolve to punish wrongdoing, and Hanumān’s integrity as a dūta who delivers the message accurately.
