सीताहनूमद्भाषणम् — Sita Tests the Messenger; Hanuman Offers Reassurance
अपकृष्याश्रमपदान्मृगरूपेण राघवम्।शून्ये येनापनीतासि तस्य द्रक्ष्यसि यत्फलम्।।।।
apakṛṣyāśramapadān mṛgarūpeṇa rāghavam ।
śūnye yenāpanītāsi tasya drakṣyasi yatphalam ॥
You will see the consequence of the one who, luring Rāghava away from the hermitage in the form of a deer, carried you off into a desolate place.
"You will see the consequences of the action of Ravana who abducted you deceitfully in the form of deer when Rama was away from the hermitage.
Karma-phala linked to adharma: deception and abduction inevitably yield consequences; wrongdoing carries its own destined result.
Hanumān assures Sītā that the abductor’s deceitful act will soon bear its result through Rāma’s response.
