सुन्‍दरकाण्डे एकत्रिंशः सर्गः — Hanuman’s Sweet Address to Sita and Sita’s Recognition

सा तिर्यगूर्ध्वं च तथाप्यधस्तान्निरीक्षमाणा तमचिन्त्यबुद्धिम्।ददर्श पिङ्गाधिपतेरमात्यं वातात्मजं सूर्यमिवोदयस्थम्।।।।

niśamya sītā vacanaṃ kapeś ca diśaś ca sarvāḥ pradiśaś ca vīkṣya |

svayaṃ praharṣaṃ paramaṃ jagāma sarvātmanā rāmam anusmarantī ||

Hearing the monkey’s words, Sītā looked to all directions and quarters; and remembering Rāma with her whole being, she herself attained the highest joy.

She looked obliquely, up, and down and saw Hanuman of unimaginable intelligence, the minister of the monkey lord, son of the Wind-god, who looked like the rising Sun.ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē sundarakāṇḍē ēkatriṅśassargaḥ৷৷Thus ends the thirtyfirst sarga of Sundarakanda of the holy Ramayana, the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
