त्रिजटास्वप्नवर्णनम् (Trijata’s Dream-Omens and the Rakshasis’ Reversal)
अर्थसिद्धिं तु वैदेह्याः पश्याम्यहमुपस्थिताम्।।5.27.47।।राक्षसेन्द्रविनाशं च विजयं राघवस्य च।
arthasiddhiṃ tu vaidehyāḥ paśyāmy aham upasthitām | rākṣasendra-vināśaṃ ca vijayaṃ rāghavasya ca ||5.27.47||
I see the fulfilment of Vaidehī’s cause drawing near; and I also see the destruction of the lord of rākṣasas and the victory of Rāghava.
"I see the day of fulfilment for Vaidehi has drawn near. I can also foresee the destruction of the demon king and the triumph of Rama.
The moral arc of itihāsa: satya and dharma are ultimately victorious, while tyranny and adharma (embodied by the rākṣasa-king) move toward ruin.
Based on signs and the dream-discussion, a rākṣasī foresees Sītā’s impending relief and Rāma’s victory over the rākṣasa ruler.
Rāma’s dhārmika power—his victory is portrayed as the restoration of righteous order.
