In the same manner, there I saw Kumbhakarṇa, the night-roamer; and I saw all of Rāvaṇa’s sons as well, their bodies smeared with oil.

"There I saw the night-ranger, Kumbhakarna and also Ravana's sons, their bodies smeared with oil.

The verse suggests collective consequence: when leadership embraces adharma, its lineage and supporters share in downfall. Dharma in governance protects not only oneself but one’s entire house.

Trijaṭā expands her dream-omens beyond Rāvaṇa to Kumbhakarṇa and Rāvaṇa’s sons, indicating a wider collapse of Laṅkā’s unrighteous faction.

Compassionate foresight: Trijaṭā’s warning aims to prevent further sin by the rākṣasīs against Sītā.
