सीताविलापः — Sita’s Lament and Prophecy of Lanka’s Ruin

jānīyād vartamānāṃ hi rāvaṇasya niveśane ||

If that heroic Rāma, whose eyes turn bloodshot in wrath, were to learn that I am here, within Rāvaṇa’s dwelling…

"If the heroic Rama of blood-shot eyes comes to know that I am here at Ravana's, the expiry of time limit fixed by this cruel, lowly, foolish Ravana has arrived, this wicked fellow's death is inevitable.

Rāvaṇa’s residence (Laṅkā palace context)

The verse implies moral causality: when truth becomes known and dharma is invoked through Rāma’s rightful protection of Sītā, adharma (Rāvaṇa’s wrongdoing) cannot remain without consequence.

In Aśoka-vana, Sītā laments her captivity and imagines what would happen if Rāma discovered her location inside Rāvaṇa’s domain.

Rāma’s vīrya (heroic power) allied to dharma—his strength is portrayed as purposeful, protective, and awakened by injustice.
