Dharma is sustained by tejas (moral energy) and clarity; grief erodes both, so restraint of sorrow becomes an ethical necessity for right action.

Sugrīva continues advising Rāma, explaining the psychological and practical harms of indulging grief.

Tejas joined with dhairya—maintaining inner strength to pursue a righteous goal.
