'You are the son of Arishtanemi (sage Kasyapa) and Vinata, and your guru-like (elder brother) is Garuda, the greatest among birds. He is powerful and and famous.

Dharma is decisive service: when the righteous objective is clear, one should rise and act, not remain in doubt.

Jāmbavān issues a direct call for Hanumān to cross the ocean to continue the search for Sītā.

Utsāha (initiative) joined with confidence in one’s divinely endowed ability.
