When the three worlds were thrown into turmoil, all the gods, alarmed, sought to pacify the enraged Māruta, the lord of the Wind.
Restoring harmony is dharma: leaders must prioritize stabilizing the world by reconciliation and respectful appeasement when a powerful force is angered.
Because the wind stops, the cosmos is disturbed; the gods intervene to calm Vāyu.
Prasādana (conciliation)—the gods act collectively to re-establish order through diplomacy rather than escalation.
