हनूमद्बलप्रबोधनम् / Jāmbavān Rekindles Hanūmān’s Power
अनेकशतसाहस्रीं विषण्णां हरिवाहिनीम्।जाम्बवान्समुदीक्ष्यैवं हनूमन्तमथाब्रवीत्।।।।
anekaśatasāhasrīṃ viṣaṇṇāṃ harivāhinīm |
jāmbavān samudīkṣya evaṃ hanūmantam athābravīt || 4.66.1 ||
Seeing the monkey host—hundreds of thousands—sunk in dejection, Jāmbavān then spoke to Hanumān in this manner.
Then Jambavan observed the worries of several hundred thousands of the monkey army and said to Hanuman:
Dharma includes uplifting others toward right action: Jāmbavān responds to collective despair by guiding the one capable of fulfilling duty, restoring truthful confidence and purpose.
After the search party becomes discouraged about the impossible distance, Jāmbavān turns to Hanumān to awaken his latent power and responsibility.
Prājñatā (wise leadership)—recognizing despair and addressing it by directing the right person toward the needed action.
