सम्पातिवाक्यम् (Sampati’s Intelligence Report on Sita’s Abduction)

स हरीन्प्रीतिसंयुक्तान्सीताश्रुतिसमाहितान्।पुनराश्वसयन्प्रीत: इदं वचनमब्रवीत्।।।।

sa harīn prītisaṃyuktān sītāśruti-samāhitān |

punar āśvāsayan prīta idaṃ vacanam abravīt ||

Seeing the monkeys filled with joy and intent on hearing of Sītā, he—pleased—reassured them once more and spoke these words.

Pleased to see the happiness and eagernes of the monkeys assembled to hear about Sita, Sampati continued in order to reassure them:

S
Sampāti
V
Vānara (monkeys)
S
Sītā

Dharma includes compassionate guidance: one who knows the way should steady others with truthful reassurance, sustaining them in righteous effort.

The narration marks a transition: Sampāti, pleased by their eagerness, begins to explain what he knows about Sītā.

Dayā (compassion) expressed through āśvāsa (encouragement) that supports collective duty.
