Shloka 4.49.19

एकोनपञ्चाशः सर्गः (Sarga 49) — Aṅgada Re-energizes the Southern Search Party

ते तु दृष्टिगतं कृत्वा तं शैलं बहुकन्दरम्।अवारोहन्त हरयो वीक्षमाणास्समन्ततः।।।।

te tu dṛṣṭigataṃ kṛtvā taṃ śailaṃ bahukandaram | avārohanta harayo vīkṣamāṇāḥ samantataḥ ||

But after bringing that many-caved mountain fully within their view—looking all around—they, the monkeys, descended.

Having looked all over the mountain and many caverns, those monkeys got down from the mountain.

Dharma as diligence and completeness: they do not abandon a site until it is thoroughly checked.

Having scanned the mountain and its caves, the troop comes down to continue elsewhere.

Kārya-kauśala (competent execution) and apramāda (carefulness).
