एकोनपञ्चाशः सर्गः (Sarga 49) — Aṅgada Re-energizes the Southern Search Party

अङ्गदस्य वचश्श्रुत्वा वचनं गन्धमादनः।उवाचाव्यक्तया वाचा पिपासाश्रमखिन्नया।।।।

aṅgadasya vacaḥ śrutvā vacanaṃ gandhamādanaḥ |

uvāca avyaktayā vācā pipāsā-śrama-khinnayā ||

Hearing Angada’s words, Gandhamādana—worn down by thirst and exhaustion—replied in a faint, indistinct voice.

Having heard Angada, Gandhamadana worn out by thirst and exhaustion, replied in a feeble tone:

A
Angada
G
Gandhamadana
V
Vanaras

Dharma acknowledges human limits while continuing duty: exhaustion is real, yet communication and counsel continue for the mission’s sake.

Gandhamādana responds to Angada, but the party’s thirst and fatigue have become severe.

Sincerity and persistence—speaking up despite physical depletion.
