सुग्रीवस्य शतवलि-प्रेषणम् (Sugriva’s Commission to Satavali for the Northern Search)
दिशं ह्युदीचीं विक्रान्तां हिमशैलावतंसकाम्।सर्वतः परिमार्गध्वं रामपत्नीमनिन्दिताम्।।।।
taṃ tu deśam atikramya śailodā nāma nimnagā |
ubhayos tīrayoḥ tasyāḥ kīcakā nāma veṇavaḥ ||
te nayanti paraṃ tīraṃ siddhān pratyānayanti ca |
Passing beyond that region, you will come to a mountain stream called Śailodā. On both its banks are bamboo groves known as Kīcakas; they convey the Siddhas to the far shore and bring them back again.
