सुग्रीवस्य शतवलि-प्रेषणम् (Sugriva’s Commission to Satavali for the Northern Search)
क्रौञ्चं तु गिरिमासाद्य बिलं तस्य सुदुर्गमम्।अप्रमत्तै: प्रवेष्टव्यं दुष्प्रवेशं हि तत्स्मृतम्।।।।
krauñcaṃ tu girim āsādya bilaṃ tasya su-durgamam |
apramattaiḥ praveṣṭavyaṃ duṣ-praveśaṃ hi tat smṛtam ||
Having reached Mount Krauñca, enter its exceedingly hard-to-reach cavern only with full vigilance, for it is said to be perilously difficult to enter.
'Therefrom proceed to mount krauncha mountain and enter carefully its cave which is reportedly difficult to access.
Dharma includes prudence: righteous work must be done with alertness and care, not recklessness, especially in dangerous places.
Sugrīva warns the searchers about a hazardous cave at Mount Krauñca and instructs cautious entry.
Apramāda (vigilant heedfulness): careful, disciplined action in pursuit of a righteous goal.
