Search there among the Mlecchas and Pulindas, and likewise among the Śūrasenas; among the Prasthalas and Bharatas; and among the Kurus together with the Madrakas. Search also among the Kāmbhojas and Yavanas; among the Śakas and Āraṭṭakas; among the Bāhlīkas and Ṛṣikas; among the Pauravas and the Ṭaṅkaṇas. Again and again, seek among the Cīnas and the Parama-Cīnas, the Nīhāras and the Daradas, and likewise in the Himavant (Himalaya) region—so that she may be found.

'There you should explore the dwelling of Ravana and Vaidehi, in the thickets of lodhra and lotuses and in the woods of devadaru.

Dharma is expressed as tireless commitment to a righteous mission—searching widely and repeatedly for Sītā, without prejudice toward distant peoples or difficult terrains.

Sugrīva instructs the vānaras to expand the search across many northern and trans-regional peoples and up to the Himalayan zone, emphasizing repeated, thorough investigation.

Perseverance and disciplined obedience to duty: the searchers must be methodical, exhaustive, and unwavering in purpose.
