None will be dearer to me than he—dearer even than my own life. Though he may have erred many times, he shall become my closest kinsman.

'None will be dearer to me than he. Even if he has made a mistake, he will be to me dear and near.

S
Sugrīva

Dharma is gratitude and loyalty: extraordinary service to a righteous cause merits enduring affection and protection, even overriding prior mistakes.

Continuing his incentives, Sugrīva declares that the successful messenger will become his closest confidant, valued above life itself.

Gratitude coupled with forgiveness—Sugrīva promises closeness even if the person had earlier erred.
