उद्योगप्रवर्तनम् (Mobilization and Counsel on Kingship)
ततस्तमुद्योगमवेक्ष्य बुद्धिमान्हरिप्रवीरस्य निदेशवर्तिनः।बभूव हर्षाद्वसुधाधिपात्मजःप्रबुद्धनीलोत्पलतुल्यदर्शनः।।4.38.34।।
āgamiṣyanti te rājan mahendra-sama-vikramāḥ | meru-mandara-saṅkāśā vindhya-meru-kṛtālayāḥ ||4.38.32||
O King, they will come to you—mighty as Mahendra (Indra) in valor—resembling Meru and Mandara in stature, dwelling among the Vindhya ranges and on Meru-like heights.
The wise statesman, Rama observing the efforts of Sugriva and his attendants looked like a blooming blue lotus through delight.ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē kiṣkindhākāṇḍē aṣṭatriṅśassargaḥ৷৷Thus ends of thirtyeighth sarga in Kishkindakanda of the first epic, the Holy Ramayana, composed by sage Valmiki.
Dharma is reinforced through encouragement rooted in truthfulness (satya): Sugrīva truthfully assures Rāma of capable allies who will serve the righteous cause.
Sugrīva describes the arriving Vānara warriors and their formidable, mountain-like strength and origins.
Rāma’s rightful kingship is acknowledged (“rājan”), and Sugrīva’s loyal support is expressed through confident reassurance.
