तारोपदेशः — Tara’s Counsel to Lakshmana (Restraint, Time, and Mobilization)
समानेष्यति सुग्रीव स्सीतया सह राघवम्।शशाङ्कमिव रोहिण्या निहत्वा रावणं रणे।।।।
samāneṣyati sugrīvaḥ sītayā saha rāghavam | śaśāṅkam iva rohiṇyā nihatvā rāvaṇaṃ raṇe ||
Having slain Rāvaṇa in battle, Sugrīva will soon reunite Rāghava with Sītā—like the Moon rejoining Rohiṇī.
'Killing Ravana in war, Sugriva will restore Sita soon to Rama.Rama will join Sita like Moon joins Rohini.
Dharma here is steadfast commitment to a righteous promise: Sugrīva is portrayed as fulfilling his duty to aid Rāma, culminating in the restoration of Sītā after the defeat of adharma (Rāvaṇa).
Tārā counsels Lakṣmaṇa, assuring him that Sugrīva will accomplish the war against Rāvaṇa and reunite Rāma and Sītā.
Reliability and loyalty in alliance—Sugrīva’s expected faithfulness to his pledged support of Rāma.
