लक्ष्मणक्रोधः सुग्रीवप्रबोधनं च (Lakshmana’s Wrath and the Summoning of Sugriva)
सोऽङ्गदं रोषताम्राक्षस्सन्दिदेश महायशाः।।सुग्रीवः कथ्यतां वत्स ममागमनमित्युत।
so ’ṅgadaṃ roṣatāmrākṣaḥ sandidiśa mahāyaśāḥ | sugrīvaḥ kathyatāṃ vatsa mamāgamanam ity uta ||
Then the renowned Lakshmana, his eyes reddened with anger, sent Angada this message: “Dear one, tell Sugriva that I have come.”
Renowned Lakshmana, with his eyes turned red in anger said to Angada 'O dear, inform Sugriva, about my arrival'.
Dharma is directness and truthful communication: Lakshmana chooses an unambiguous message, seeking accountability without deceit.
Lakshmana uses Angada as an intermediary to announce his arrival to Sugriva at the palace gate.
Lakshmana’s clarity and firmness in duty—he acts as Rama’s agent to restore the promised course of action.
