शरत्प्रवेशे रामविलापः तथा सुग्रीवप्रमादे लक्ष्मणप्रेषणम् (Autumn’s Onset: Rama’s Lament and Lakshmana Sent to Sugriva)

ततश्चञ्चूर्य रम्येषु फलार्थी गिरिसानुषु।ददर्श पर्युपावृत्तो लक्ष्मीवान्लक्ष्मणोऽग्रजम्।।

Transliteration

tataś cañcūrya ramyeṣu phalārthī girisānuṣu |

dadarśa paryupāvṛtto lakṣmīvān lakṣmaṇo ’grajam ||4.30.14||

Translation

Then Lakṣmaṇa, graceful and radiant, having searched the lovely mountain slopes for fruits and turned back, saw his elder brother.
