प्रस्रवणगिरिवासवर्णनम् (Residence on Mount Prasravana; Counsel during the Rains)
इतश्च नातिदूरे सा किष्किन्धा चित्रकानना।सुग्रीवस्य पुरी रम्या भविष्यति नृपात्मज4.27.26।।
itaś ca nātidūre sā kiṣkindhā citrakānanā |
sugrīvasya purī ramyā bhaviṣyati nṛpātmaja || 4.27.26 ||
And not far from here lies Kiṣkindhā, set amid a wondrous forest—the delightful city of Sugrīva, O prince.
'O prince ! Sugriva's delightful city of Kishkinda with wonderful forest around is not far from here.
Dharma involves rightful alliances: reaching Sugrīva’s realm signals the path toward a just partnership to restore order and seek Sītā.
Rama identifies the proximity of Kiṣkindhā, where Sugrīva rules, indicating they are nearing their strategic destination.
Purposeful leadership—Rama keeps the mission in view while navigating the forest.
