प्रस्रवणगिरिवासवर्णनम् (Residence on Mount Prasravana; Counsel during the Rains)
अहो सुरमणीयोऽयं देशश्शत्रुनिषूदन।दृढं रंस्याव सौमित्रे साध्वत्र निवसावहै4.27.25।।
aho suramaṇīyo 'yaṃ deśaḥ śatruniṣūdana |
dṛḍhaṃ raṃsyāva saumitre sādhv atra nivasāvahai || 4.27.25 ||
Ah, this land is exceedingly delightful, O destroyer of foes! Surely, O Saumitri, we shall enjoy ourselves here—let us stay in this place.
'O Saumitri destroyer of enemies! this place is most enchanting. Surely we will reside here sporting in joy .
Shared endurance in dharma: even in exile, Rama seeks a rightful, peaceful dwelling while maintaining companionship and purpose.
Rama, moved by the beauty of the region, proposes that he and Lakshmana stay there for a time.
Fraternal trust and steadiness—Rama plans with Lakshmana as an equal partner in hardship and duty.
