वालिविलापः — Vali’s Final Counsel and the Succession Charge
अनुरूपाणि कर्माणि विक्रम्य बलवान्रणे।करिष्यत्येष तारेयस्तरस्वी तरुणोऽङ्गदः।।
anurūpāṇi karmāṇi vikramya balavān raṇe | kariṣyaty eṣa tāreyaḥ tarasvī taruṇo ’ṅgadaḥ ||
This strong, swift, youthful Angada—Tārā’s son—will, in battle, advance with prowess and accomplish deeds fitting to the occasion.
'This mighty hero Angada, son of Tara, is young and dynamic. He will strike (the enemy) in a fitting manner in war.
Right action appropriate to context (yathā-yogya karma): dharma in war includes competent, proportionate, and fitting conduct.
Vāli reinforces Sugrīva’s confidence that Angada will mature into a capable warrior and actor in the coming campaign.
