वालिविलापः — Vali’s Final Counsel and the Succession Charge
सुषेणदुहिता चेयमर्थसूक्ष्मविमनिश्चये।औत्पातिके च विविधे सर्वतः परिनिष्ठिता।।
suṣeṇa-duhitā ceyam artha-sūkṣma-vimaniścaye | autpātike ca vividhe sarvataḥ pariniṣṭhitā ||
This lady, the daughter of Suṣeṇa, is accomplished in discerning the subtle points of policy and meaning, and is fully adept in meeting diverse sudden crises and omens on every side.
'Tara, daughter of Sushena, is wise and efficient in discerning subtle matters and in foreseeing unexpected events.
Dharma of counsel: righteous rule depends on wise advisors who can discern subtle policy and respond to crises without confusion.
Vāli commends Tārā’s competence to Sugrīva, implicitly urging him to respect and rely on her counsel for stable governance.
