पम्पा-तीर-वर्णनम् / Rama’s Lament at Pampa and the Approach to Rishyamuka
विक्षिपन्विविधाश्शाखा नगानां कुसुमोत्कचाः।मारुतश्चलितस्थानैष्षट्पदैरनुगीयते।।।।
vikṣipan vividhāḥ śākhā nagānāṃ kusumotkacāḥ | mārutaś calitasthānaiḥ ṣaṭpadair anugīyate ||
As the wind shakes the many flower-laden branches of the trees, it seems as though it is sung along by bees that flit from place to place.
"As the wind shakes the flowers off the branches of various trees the bees bumble in tune with the (whistling) wind.
Dharma includes harmony with the world: attentive appreciation of nature steadies the mind, helping one remain truthful and disciplined in action.
During the journey, the scene is painted through sensory imagery—wind, blossoms, and bees—framing the forest as alive with ordered movement.
Cultivated perception and calmness—an inner poise that can coexist with the pressures of the quest.
