O fortunate lady, within your womb a virtuous son of very great strength is being formed.
'O Great lady! a child of high prowess, lustre and virtues is growing in your womb. In a short time this glorious son carrying with him the poison (administered to you) will be born. O Lotus-eyed lady, do not grieve'.
Dharma here is protective compassion: the sage reassures and safeguards the righteous continuation of lineage, affirming that virtue and strength can arise even amid adversity.
A sage consoles the elder queen, indicating that a virtuous and powerful son is developing in her womb despite hostile circumstances.
The sage’s karuṇā (compassion) and truthfulness in giving reassurance, supporting the queen’s steadfastness.
